3 Year Old Nursery

3s At Play 2In the three-year-old class we are forging friendships and learning to be independent thinkers. Transitioning from home to school can be difficult for some of the children and we work on that with their parents.

Our program encourages children to recognize and understand other people’s feelings. Students will develop positive social interaction skills and be able to cooperate as a part of a group.

While learning the alphabet children will become familiar with the sounds letters make and discover that when we put them together they can form words. We will count, measure, and sort as an introduction to mathematics. Students will create individual and group works of art using a wide variety of age appropriate media.

3s At Play 1Dramatic play is an important part of the curriculum too.

We strive to foster a love of learning and self-confidence in all of our students.

Children must turn three by December 31st and be completely toilet trained. No diapers or pull-ups are permitted.
